A 14-year-old boy walking home from a party late at night was shot in the head in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The teen and a group of friends encountered another group of teens at Cornelia St. and Evergreen Ave. at about 11 p.m. Wednesday when the boy was shot once in the head, said police.

It is not clear if the two groups knew each other or what lead to the shooting.

The victim remained listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital Thursday morning.

Police cordoned off the area for several hours while an investigation took place.

The NYPD is looking for the gunman.
