A crooked cop already behind bars in connection with a drug-running case has been charged with trying to arrange the murder of a witness.

The Bronx District Attorney charged Jose Ramos and his wife with conspiracy on Thursday.

Ramos made jailhouse phone calls plotting to kill the witness, according to prosecutors.

While the NYPD was investigating Ramos, they stumbled upon evidence that many cops fixed tickets for friends and family.

A dozen officers were charged criminally for making tickets disappear, which many officers said was not a crime, but rather a courtesy, the AP reported
