Fire rips through Brooklyn building

A fire is raging at a seven-story building in the Lefferts section of Brooklyn.
Dark smoke clouds from the six-alarm blaze can be seen rising from a distance.
More than 100 firefighters are on the scene. The fire commissioner was also there before noon.
The fire broke out just after 10 a.m. in the attic at 665 New York Ave., according to FDNY officials.
It is not clear if anyone has been injured.
Firefighters are also facing increasing temperatures and high humidity levels.
