The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who slashed two people at random in the Bronx.
The first attack happened on Boston Road in WIlliamsbridge on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at about 8:50 p.m., police said. The attacker slashed a 60-year-old man on his neck, police said. That victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
Then on Monday, less than half a mile away, the attacker struck again. This time he slashed a 60-year-old woman on her face, police said. She was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
In both attacks, the attacker said nothing to his victims and did not steal anything from them, the NYPD said.
Police describe the man as black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and wearing a white shirt.
