Police in Stone County, Ark., are searching for Landen Cade Trammell, a 3-year-old boy who was last seen at his home in Onia at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
KTHV reports the boy was being watched by his grandfather at the time of his disappearance. The man said he thought his grandson was asleep on the couch but discovered that he was missing when he went to check on him.

UPDATE 5:00 p.m.:
KATV now reports that Landen Trammell has been found alive, “covered in mud in a creek bed near the search command center.”According to 40/29 News, officials say Trammell appears to be fine, and has been taken to an area hospital to get checked out.
“He’s a tough little guy,” Landen’s cousin told KATV.
Landen Trammell is 3 feet tall, weighs 29 pounds, has blond hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing only white underwear, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. His case is currently listed as “Endangered Missing,” but no foul play is suspected in his disappearance.
According to Arkansas Matters, Trammell is believed to have wandered off into rural Onia, near the Missouri border.
State, federal and local agencies are assisting in the search for the boy. Coordinated efforts included a field search using corrections department dogs and county and state police helicopters. Additionally, a door-to-door search was initiated on Tuesday after a neighbor reported a boy matching Trammell’s description playing in a nearby yard.

The Huffington Post contacted the Stone County, Ark., Sheriff’s Department, who would not disclose additional information about the boy. A representative said a press conference will be held in Onia around noon Wednesday, Central Time.
